TELL ME A TALE

Gregor Kuntscher

5 Sep - 10 Oct 2024

Gregor Kuntscher’s photographs take us on a journey to discover the unique stories of places and faces from Bolivia, India, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia and Uganda.

Across cultures and countries, people have always told each other (their) stories. It is a deeply human, perhaps universal, act. As long as we have been telling stories, they have helped us to evolve, to form bonds, to share our experiences, and to build empathy; they have become the glue that holds us, our connections.

Through his photographs, Gregor Kuntscher tells us the tale of human condition, the beauty and uniqueness of even the most fleeting and ordinary moments of what we call everyday life. He shows us how they matter, and how they are charged with a greater meaning. His images stand as powerful testimonies of the beauty, challenges, and diversity of human existence that draw us out to experience our innate desire to tell, and to be told tales.
